NEW STAGE

A multi-purpose, easily transformable modern event space with a 200-seating capacity, consisting of a main stage and two amphitheatrical and moveable stands. It is designed for musical concerts but it is also suitable for seminars, workshops and cinema showings.

The New Stage occupies 243 m2 and is situated at the second basement (-2) of the Athens Conservatoire building. It is designed to be easily transformable and can take several forms:

Ιn its full use, it consists of an open space with a main stage in the center and a total of 200 seats – 100 on the right and another 100 on the left -arranged in two stands.
This particular venue can also function with only one stand of 100 seats, thus leaving a larger free space in the centre.
Alternatively both stands can be put aside, which will allow an event to take place with no seats at all.

It can also be separated in three smaller rooms suitable for seminars and parallel sessions to events taking place in other Athens Conservatoire venues. Each of the three smaller rooms will have a separate entrance.

The New Stage will be equipped with a soundproof system which will ensure its independent or complementary operation to events taking place in other Athens Conservatoire venues.
