The Athens Conservatoire (AC) is housed in the iconic building designed by the famous architect Ioannis Despotopoulos.
It is located right in the heart of downtown Athens, within easy walking distance from Syntagma Square and Kolonaki Square, in close proximity with the Presidential Mansion, the Greek Parliament and the National Gardens, next to the Aristotle’s Lyceum and the Byzantine Museum and within walking distance to the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times took place in 1896 (see our location on map).
The building is easily accessible by public transport and by car, with several parking spaces nearby (see details how to get here).
The “Athens Conservatoire Arts Centre” complex, comprises several venues, each with a particular and distinctive aesthetic value and architectural identity, which can host cultural, corporate and social events, as well as exhibitions, conferences and conventions.

This is a multi-purpose spacious underground venue of an industrial aesthetic, ideal for art exhibitions, trade shows, parties, corporate and social events of a larger scale.
This brand new and long-awaited space of outstanding aesthetics opened its doors in October 2022.
With a seating capacity of 600 people, the modern, elegant venue provides the ideal stage for conferences, congresses, cinema, theatre, dance and music concerts.
A minimal and elegant space of 700 m2, right beside the New Stage, is a flexible, open, “free” space, ideal for commercial and trade fairs, art exhibitions, receptions and cocktail parties, but also corporate and social events.
A multi-purpose, easily transformable event space with a flexible seating capacity of around 200 people. Designed for electronic music concerts but also suitable for screenings, seminars, workshops and conference sessions.
A modern Αuditorium with excellent facilities and modern, distinctive aesthetic value, ideal for conferences, presentations, workshops and music concerts of a smaller scale.
A beautiful outdoor space, the Athens Conservatoire Colonnade (“Peristilion”) with its distinctive architectural identity, its impressive length and natural light, provides shelter from all weather conditions and can be used independently or as an auxiliary space for events hosted in any of the other venues.
A new, modern café/restaurant spreads out to the magnificent outdoor area of the building, destined to become a new meeting point for those seeking an unpretentious & elegant environment to hang out in downtown Athens.
A group of studio suites, suitably equipped for recordings, electronic sound and image processing projects, ideal for musical rehearsals and music training sessions.
